Jozy Altidore has started off on the right foot for his new club AZ, who compete in the Dutch Eredivisie, by scoring in his debut with the team. Altidore came on in the second half of the game and aided in the 3-1 win with his header in the 80th minute. May this be a good sign of things to come for Mr. Altidore!

Neymar is the name that has been on the lips of many during the summer transfer season. This clip is testament to why. In a match against Flamengo, the Santos player successfully makes five Flamengo players look ridiculous in his quest to put the ball into the twine. And yes, he does score.

During Chelsea's Asia Tour, some of the guys found some time to form a band to perform an old Beatles ditty. Very entertaining even though the club cook is carrying the song by playing guitar and providing lead vocals while the players add percussive rhythms.

Jurgen Klinsmann Officially Introduced as USMNT's New Head Coach

A press conference was held at Niketown in Manhattan today to introduce Jurgen Klinsmann as the new head coach of the US Men's squad. The press conference comes a few days after the first announcement of Klinsmann taking the position after Bob Bradley was forced to vacate it last Thursday. The deal comes after an initial proposition in 2006 to bring Klinsmann on as coach, which has been mentioned on and off for the past five years. Initially the negotiations fell through due to disagreements between Klinsmann and USSF President Sunil Gulati on how to develop the team and approach the growth of the sport in the country. The result of the Gold Cup final back in June finally pushed Gulati to take a new approach with the program.
It is worth mentioning that Bob Bradley's tenure is not easily forgotten as he lead the team to some notable victories, but it is an exciting time for US Soccer to see how a foreign coach will do with the entire program in his hands. Klinsmann's first match in the position will be on August 10th when the US take on the same team they last played under Bob Bradley. No doubt all eyes will be on Klinsmann to see how he pulls the team together for the friendly against Mexico.
